Q-MED is the inventor of Zuidex-based implacement therapy. Since its founding in 1987, the international business from Uppsala, Sweden, has been focusing on the research and development of practical applications on the basis of non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA), with a particular focus on the areas of aesthetic medicine, urogynecology and orthopedy. Particularly promising areas of research are i.e. cell therapy and cell encapsulation.
